Realme is preparing to release its upcoming flagship, the Realme GT 8 Pro, and it's making waves already with two significant highlights Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and an exchangeable camera module system.
The phone is set to launch in China later this October, followed by an India release soon after. Realme has previewed that the GT 8 Pro will enable users to change between three designs of cameras round, square, and a robotic-themed one. This new style may introduce an unusual level of personalization for smartphones. On the performance front, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 has allegedly pushed the GT 8 Pro to over 4 million points in AnTuTu benchmarks, a huge increase from the 2.8 million of the GT 7 Pro. This puts the phone squarely in the flagship league.
If it comes at a price of around ₹60,000, similar to that of its predecessor, the GT 8 Pro will be undercutting ultra-premium competition while rivalling performance-oriented phones such as the OnePlus 15 and Xiaomi 17. With its distinctive camera hump and specifications-rich internals, the Realme GT 8 Pro is looking to be one of the most exciting flagship releases of the year.
